Since the printing of the New York Times article in 2016, there has been an interest in telling the stories of Our Ancestors.  These stories have been passed orally from Generation to Generation, although families were forced to be separated. Today, talented and committed Descendants are researching and sharing our legacy on various platforms, Including zoom meetings, workshops, theater, YouTube, television, and Facebook. We are passing our narratives to the next generation.  

The Descendants are an impressive group of men and women with a rich legacy of Faith, Family, and Unity.
