Jesuit Missions
In 1634, the Jesuits established missions in Maryland. The Jesuits arrived in Maryland with the first settlers on the Ark and the Dove. The Jesuits established the following Missions in Maryland.
St. Inigoes and Newtown Manor in St. Mary's County
2. St. Thomas Manor in Charles County
3. White Marsh in Prince George's County
4. Bohemia Manor in Cecil County
